Richard Ward Funeral Services is an independent family owned and run Leicestershire Funeral Directing business. Richard Ward is a fully qualified and licensed Funeral Director, Embalmer and supplier of headstones whose unbroken career in Funeral Service began in 1982.
During his time working predominantly in senior management, Richard’s commitment to the families he has served has never wavered. He has never lost sight of what really matters to the bereaved family.
With this deeply held belief, Richard and his wife Sharron formed the company Richard Ward Funeral Services Ltd in late 2006. They had an ambitious plan to open their own family run funeral home, headed by Richard and staffed by his family. This ambition has been fulfilled. Their funeral home is focussed on a people orientated warm and friendly approach. It provides efficient and professional continuity of care at a fair price, delivered by a company that is who and what it claims to be above the door.
